Booking Process – Rangitahi Marae
Booking Rangitahi Marae is a simple and seamless process designed to ensure your event is well-organized while respecting the cultural significance of our marae. Follow the steps below to secure your booking:
Step 1
Submit Your Booking & Pay Deposit
Complete our online booking form with your event details, including the type of booking, expected guest numbers, and any special requirements. You can also indicate if you would like to include catering or professional cleaning services. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Step 2
Finalize Event Arrangements
Closer to your event, we will liaise with you to finalize catering options (if requested), venue setup, provide you with the keys, and any other details to ensure a smooth experience. Full payment is required before your event date.
Step 3
Arrival & Welcome
Upon arrival, our team will guide you through the pōwhiri (welcome process) and provide support throughout your event.
Additional Services

Catering: Our modern, fully-equipped kitchen is available for use, or we can arrange catering for your event upon request.

Professional Cleaning: For convenience, a professional cleaning service can be arranged post-event to ensure the marae is left in excellent condition.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tangihanga (Funerals) take precedence at the marae. In the event of a tangi during your booking, a full refund will be provided, and we will assist in rescheduling if needed.

Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may incur a cancellation fee.
